The EOG is made up of experienced Kansas independent pharmacy practitioners, the Currus CEO, and a representative of the KU School of Pharmacy (to act as a liaison with the school).
The EOG

Identifies independent pharmacists as information resources
Complements activities organized by the KU School of Pharmacy related to independent pharmacy opportunities
Identifies potential entrepreneurs from KU pharmacy student population
Provides ongoing guidance to potential entrepreneurs
Scholarships
Each year the EOG initiative provides scholarships to University of Kansas School of Pharmacy students who have shown interest in pursuing independent pharmacy practice. EOG scholarships are awarded in June for use during the following academic year.
EOG scholarships are open to students who are members of the University of Kansas NCPA Student Chapter and information is distributed through the organization. Final decisions on the scholarship awards rest entirely with the EOG Committee.
