What is the Kansas Independent Pharmacy PAC?
For more than 30 years, Currus has been on the forefront of advocating for independent pharmacy in Kansas. We have established relationships both locally and federally to ensure that the interests of independent pharmacies are being met to the highest degree.
In 2005, we created the Kansas Independent Pharmacy Political Action Committee (PAC) to give contributions to key state legislators who are actively involved in making public policy decisions regarding community pharmacy.
Our priority in the 2021 Legislative Session will be to ensure that pharmacists in Kansas are given provider status so they can best serve their communities and ultimately, administer COVID-19 vaccines when they become available.
As we develop our advocacy priorities for the 2021 Legislative Session aimed to advance opportunities for independent pharmacy, retention of legislative champions is essential. Your continued support helps us make an impact.
If you have a passion for small business, if you have a passion for health care, and if you have a passion for community pharmacy, please consider donating to the Kansas Independent Pharmacy PAC today.

Contributions to the Kansas Independent Pharmacy PAC are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions. Contributions are voluntary and will be used to support candidates for state-wide (Kansas) races (i.e., Senator, Representative, Governor, Insurance Commissioner, etc.). The Kansas Independent Pharmacy PAC consults with the Currus lobbyist for recommendations on PAC distribution to candidates. All distributions are approved by the Currus Board of Directors. All contributions will be reported to the Kansas Ethics Commission.
