Currus’ Commitment to Supporting Kansas Communities
As a healthcare company, we’ve been closely monitoring the dynamic situation of COVID-19, along with the rest of the world. As we work to prepare for the impact of the Coronavirus, I wanted to share how Currus is addressing the current situation and the proactive steps we are taking to minimize any negative repercussions to our mission.
First and foremost, our primary concern is the health and well-being of our employees, community, patients, and customers. There are a number of measures we’re taking to ensure we safely get through this situation while continuing to serve our constituents.
Our focus remains on two key priorities: caring for the health and well-being of patients and playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus.
Independent pharmacies play an important role in providing health care in under-served rural communities. Currus will be working with our members and local health/government officials to provide our pharmacies the support they need to serve the patients in their community.
I want to thank you for everything each of you is doing during this difficult time. Many people are understandably anxious about COVID-19 and the unknowns that it poses, and yet, the pharmacy community is doing a remarkable job rising to the challenge.
Thank you all for your commitment to the well-being of Kansas communities.
